The Rauchkofel Whiskey Batch V is presented in a glowing safranton. On the nose, Johannes & Florian Kuenz like the fresh, fruity pineapple & peach tones in combination with a cinnamon-wood note, followed by intense toffee-caramel notes. In terms of taste, it reminds the two brothers of an elegant sweetness of figs, ripe plum notes combined with roasted almonds. The whiskey has a pronounced yeasty, beer-like finish with a pleasantly bitter walnut note.
