Aroma: Its candied and caramelized nose opens with notes of stewed pineapple, sweet spices such as vanilla or saffron accompanied by woody and toasted touches.
Taste: Its ample and warm palate opens with notes of ripe figs, liquorice and candied pineapple, followed by spicy, almost peppery touches underlined by a light woody note. The minty finish offers a pleasant freshness.
Winemaking: After the picking, the harvest is first vinified. Then, the wine obtained is distilled using the Charentaise method, that is to say a double distillation. This blend is made up of different eaux-de-vie made 100% from Ile d’Oléron, the youngest of which has aged for at least 10 years in oak barrels.
Colour: Its amber color is tinted with tiled reflections.
