Grapes
The special aroma wines Fürstenfass is due to the special climatic conditions. In Hohenlohe, white wines are particularly fruity. The main grape varieties Fürstenfass include white Riesling and two red wines, Trollinger and Lemberger. Of course, other grape varieties typical of Württemberg are also grown.

Maturation of wine
The wines Fürstenfass are aged in barrique barrels. The tannins contained in the wood, as well as the aromas produced during the toasting of these barrels, influence the development of the wines and give them a distinctive flavor character.

Bouquet and aroma
The Fürstenfass range is rich in first-class wines: from Pinot Blanc, whose aroma is slightly reminiscent of pear and apricot, to red Taurus, whose bouquet is dominated by fruity notes of ripe blackberries, cherries and red currants. Food pairing: meat, poultry, cheese as well as with desserts.
