Strict temperature regulation during the fermentations. Long maceration for 4 to 5 weeks. Ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting notes: With its deep dark red hue with purple highlights, Château Mazails reveals an expressive, fine bouquet mingling spices and fruit notes. The palate is fleshy and well- structured, counterbalanced by a delicate acidity. The tannins are soft and well-blended. the finish lingers on a discreet but tasty woody notes.
Pairing: Château Mazails will be perfect with cold cut and cheese platter in appetizer or in accompaniment of refined dishes such as a Tournedos Rossini or a rack of lamb.
