Intense ruby color with violet hues.
Aroma: Fresh cassis, dried grapes and arrears, followed by subtile notes of green pepper. The delicate notes of caramel and vanilla denote its passage in oak barrels.
Taste: Voluminous, with present tannins. Structured with a persistent and elegant final. The wine echoes in mouth the aromas perceived in the nose. Good structure with medium, fine and elegant length. Excellent varietal exponent.
Maturing: The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed to keep the most possible grains entire. Once in the stainless-steel tanks, a cold pre-fermentation is performed for two days, then the yeasts are added to start the alcoholic fermentation at 22°C, during which extraction technics are performed like bazuqeo to enhance the varietal characteristics. Thereafter, a post-fermentation maceration is realized for five to seven days, during which the malolactic fermentation begins. Finally, the wine is placed in French and American oak barrels.
The wine is aged for 12 months in new and one-year-old French and American medium-toasted oak barrels.
