Production: Daron comes exclusively from the “Pays d’Auge” – a region known for producing the best calvados. The distillation is carried out immediately after fermentation has ended in order to preserve the variety of aromas. The CALVADOS DARON matures in carefully selected, small wooden barrels made from Limousin oak. Although this method is extremely expensive, only these small barrels are used to allow the Calvados to breathe better and to age more harmoniously. The barrels are stored directly on the ground in old, damp and temperature-controlled cellars. This contributes significantly to the fact that the CALVADOS DARON can develop its aromatic loveliness, which is valued by connoisseurs.
Color / Bouquet: This Calvados has a pleasant apple scent, is fruity and round – but without being aggressive.
Taste: On the palate exceptionally long-lasting in taste with fine apple and pear aromas.
