Production: The Torran Sauternes gets its basic maturation in American white oak barrels (ex-Bourbon barrels). At the end of the aging process, this whiskey is given a finish in Sauternes barrels for around 6 – 12 months. Each barrel is given the maturation time it needs. Some barrels can be filled into bottles after 6 months, others take a little longer.
Bouquet: An elegant, floral beginning develops in the nose to notes of honey, apricots and pears.
Palate: A full-bodied and warm taste of spices and honey. In the finish a wonderful warmth with bitter oranges.
