Aroma: Its nose is open and fruity. Floral and candied notes combine with woody aromas offering a lively, delicious and fresh appearance.
Taste: The attack on the palate is frank and powerful, with notes of candied orange and plum pit punctuated by spices such as ginger or cloves. The woody and liquorice finish offers a lively and warm cognac.
Ideal with: To be enjoyed in cocktails or as an aperitif with tonic. Will go perfectly with a gravlax salmon, ginger vinaigrette and pink grapefruit supreme.
Winemaking: After the picking, the harvest is first vinified. Then, the wine obtained is distilled using the Charentaise method, that is to say a double distillation. This blend is made up of different eaux-de-vie made 100% from Ile d’Oléron, the youngest of which has aged for at least 2 years in oak barrels.
Colour: Honeyed reflections are revealed in its golden color.
