Grapes from the Borderies region, a very small growing area (approx. 4000 ha) in the north-west of the city of Cognac. The floor in the borderie is a mix of chalk, red clay and sand. The cognacs of this region are usually very round and aromatic. It is distilled in Charentais pot stills. It is a blend of cognacs that are up to 10 years old. These cognacs are matured in small French oak barrels. Only 2500 bottles of this wonderful cognac were filled.
Bouquet: A fruity bouquet of yellow fruits distinguishes this cognac.
Palate: Also fruity aromas of oranges, quinces and honey on the palate. Mild yet very complex with a long finish. Very elegant!
