Color: Very intense dark red with violet hues.
Aroma: Intense, ripe black fruit, such as cherries and plums, floral notes of violets, spices and vanilla. There is good integration between the fruit and the oak.
Palate: Concentrated, ripe, complex and full-bodied wine with notes of toast. The fruit and wood marry perfectly, giving this wine great balance. It has big, well-rounded, ripe and smooth tannins. The finish is intense and long.
Food pairing: Pasta, game birds and grilled red meat.
