Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation was completed in steel, at controlled temperature, with frequent pump-over for colour and flavour extraction. Matured in wood for 6 months.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby-red colour, ample bouquet with scents of spices and notes of sour cherry and plum. The mouthfeel recalls the “marasca” cherry under spirit with notes of pepper. Tannins are very elegant and balanced.
Food pairing: Most natural paring for Pinotage is a spicy barbecue. It works beautifully with grilled lamb.
