The high-quality grapes (less than 40 hl / ha) are only supplied by vineyards that are at least 20 years old. Due to the age of the vines, the roots have penetrated far into the weathered granite soils and can increasingly absorb the minerals from the soil.
Characteristic: noble ruby red color, fine aromas of local forest berries, hints of delicately tart chocolate, strong, balanced, full-bodied, strong tannins, rich in extracts and an infinitely long finish.
Ideal with: Roast, game, red meat
Winemaking: traditional mash fermentation with a long time on the mash. Skillful expansion and play with the wood as a structural element.
