‘Nestville’ 6 Years Old is a blended whisky produced using spirits that have been aged for at least six years in American oak casks. “Nestville” whisky owes its distinctive flavour to the rich traditions of Northern Spiš, ingredients of exceptionally high quality, the purity of the surrounding natural environment and a unique production process involving seven-fold distillation, which also gives the whisky a delicate, pure aroma.

The 6-year-old ‘Nestville’ blended whisky is based on a carefully crafted blend of grain and malt whiskies. The main ingredient is grain whisky, which contains 12 per cent malt, 48 per cent maize and 40 per cent triticale. The second component is pure malt whisky, made from 100 per cent barley malt. The final blend consists of 90 per cent grain whisky and 10 per cent malt whisky. The composition also includes crystal-clear, natural water. An analysis of the mineral composition of the water, which flows from the Belianske Tatras to the Ľubovňa Basin and is used to produce ‘Nestville’ whisky, has shown that it is rich in minerals and ideal for whisky production. The water requires no artificial purification, as on its long journey it is naturally filtered through rock formations dating back to the Palaeogene and Quaternary periods. Maturation in selected American white oak casks imparts a pleasant, sweetish and spicy flavour profile.

Taste
Rich flavor full of vanilla and oak wood. Complexly aromatic and slightly sweet, with a creamy background and hints of maple syrup.

Very harmonious finish with a pleasant bitterness and caramel sweetness.
