Chestnut honey
The amber-colored to red-brown honey is collected from the nectar of the flowers and transformed into a viscous honey by the bees.
This specialty has a tart, slightly bitter taste and is very versatile: in dark sauces, for baking, for our fine chestnut honey parfait and of course also for breakfast.
Many inhibins (antibacterial substances) and ferments make chestnut honey very well tolerated and give it an antibiotic effect.
